bean sprouts cafe

Healthy Food for Happy Kids
Bean Sprouts cafes offer an innovative approach to healthy food at kid-friendly destinations across the country—and now San Diegans can enjoy Bean Sprouts inside The New Children’s Museum downtown. Bean Sprouts was founded by Shannon Seip and Kelley Parthen, two moms who saw a need for healthier kids meals.
Bean Sprouts adheres to strict ingredient guidelines featuring organic and sustainable foods, compostable packaging and eco-friendly design. Their innovative approach to food has young visitors and their parents in mind. Unlike other eateries, the Bean Sprouts children’s menu is conveniently displayed on a low counter, empowering kids to make their own healthy choices. The award-winning “Imaginibbles” menu offers tasty snacks like “Crocamole” (guacamole and veggies made to look like a crocodile) and the “Grilledzilla” (a gooey grilled cheese and veggie sandwich in the shape of Godzilla). Grown-ups enjoy an equally tempting adult menu, plus organic coffee, fresh smoothies and a variety of espresso drinks.
Bean Sprouts also offers choices for families with picky eaters, allergies and other dietary challenges.
